There are a couple "spray parks" here in town that have all the fun water spraying out of the ground, pipes, all sorts of fun stuff. I thought the girls would really enjoy going there, since both of them are little fish. Boy, was I wrong! We showed up, got all lathered in sunblock and I was set to get some great pictures of the girls having a blast in the water. Ha! No such luck. They were practically terrified of it. Ellie would run through a sprinkler occasionally, but then run right back out and just watch the other kids. The only time I could get Katie wet was if I was holding her- otherwise she would start crying when one attacked her. Thursday, May 31, 2007

That's funny. We took Emma to one of those in Florida. She was running full speed around - not really playing with the water or the other kids. Just running. Sprinting through the water. All was fun until she slipped. That was the end of the water. She was fine but had lost all desire to play after that.
oh, you've gotta love that! you do all this work to give your kids a nice time and then they are totally not interested. ah...the joys of parenting.
and i can say that cause it happens to me allllll the time. :)
